Deacon (psalm-reader) of the Church of the Nativity of Christ. Tatyanino, Kostroma district; mentioned in the list of clergy of the Kostroma diocese in 1890. Died in 1892 from “catarrh of the stomach” ( S69 ).
According to the direct recollections of his grandson: Ivan Ivanovich was the eldest child, orphaned early, supported his younger brothers and sisters, received a position as a sexton with the permission of the bishop at the age of 14 and got married at 16. The family lived by farming in extreme poverty; About twenty people gathered at the table. The author talks about eight children, but lists five by name. The numbers and chronology of the story are not completely consistent: births around 1832, orphans around 1850 and age 12 cannot all be correct at the same time; specify by metrics ( S187 ).
The grandson refers Tatyanino to the Nerekhtsky district and places it 17 km from Kosmynino station; in the former S69 and in the cards of the repressed, the Kostroma district is indicated. The geographic discrepancy has been saved for testing ( S187 ).
