The youngest son of Ivan Ivanovich and Anna Grigorievna; brother of Fyodor, Mikhail, Avdotya and Anna. The paternity of Nikolai Alexandrovich Figurovsky is confirmed by the direct text of the memoirs; the previous clause "apparently" has been removed ( S187 ).
He studied at the parish school and the Kostroma Theological School; I was unable to continue my studies at the seminary. In 1894–1895 he became a novice of the Ipatiev Monastery, then canonarch and cell attendant of Bishop Vissarion. After the episode around 1897, he made a vow not to drink and, according to his son, kept it all his life ( S187 ).
Since 1898 - psalmist at the Soligalich Cathedral. He married Lyubov Pavlovna Synkovskaya, the wedding took place in Kostroma; the family received an apartment in the Cathedral House. In 1916 she moved to Nikolskoye near Kostroma as a psalm-reader-deacon, and in 1917 also as a colony storekeeper. After the exams, he became a priest in Prechistoye, about 17 km south of Sudislavl. The exact year of the move to Prechistoye is inconsistent in the story ( S187 ).
The first arrest was at the end of 1929, based on a detailed story. The son traveled on business to Kineshma in March 1930 and then to Ivanovo; achieved the reversal of the decision on a five-year deportation to the North. After liberation, my father served in the village of Dmitry Solunsky near Kolshev, then settled in Doronzhe. The second arrest was later, for a period of more than six months; according to recollections, he was acquitted by the court in Kineshma. There are no dates or documents for the second case yet ( S187 ).
In recent years he worked as a watchman of collective farm fields. The son received news of his death on the Stalingrad front. The book includes a wedding portrait and a group shot of the clergy, with Alexander identified as the far right ( S187 ).
