Sister of Fyodor, Mikhail, Alexander and Anna. In 1915, according to her nephew, she was over 60 years old. The first husband is a sexton, probably from Petropavlovsk; his son graduated from theological seminary and became a priest. Both died early. The author does not give the names of her husband and son; in one place she specifies the surname as inaccurately remembered ( S187 ).
After family losses, she moved to Kostroma; the second husband was Andrei, a former worker, then a watchman at the Kashin factory. In 1915, the couple lived in Ipatievskaya Sloboda in a small house overlooking the monastery meadow and the Volga. The author did not remember Andrey’s last and patronymic names ( S187 ).
She supported Nikolai’s nephew during his studies from 1915: she received him on Sundays and holidays, fed him, helped with clothes, gave him small money, and donated a chest for the seminary dormitory. During the famine, I made potato starch for flatbreads. Nikolai lived with her at the end of 1917 - beginning of 1918 and again from November 1918; Later he moved to the technical school dormitory. Her diary on 09/11/1918 records her agreement to accept three tenants, the rest are not named ( S187 ).
In March 1920, she saw off her nephew before being drafted; after 1922 he did not see her again. I learned about his death in the 1920s from his father. The image of Avdotya is one of the warmest family portraits in the book ( S187 ).
