Otorhinolaryngologist (“Professor Ukhogorlonos”); participant in the Great Patriotic War, captain of the medical service, head of a military field hospital ( S162 ). Not documented yet.
Killed in the Ashgabat earthquake - “like 1948” ( S162 ); According to Elena, both of Yuri's parents died, and both were doctors ( S157 ). The wife's name was established based on new materials: Anna Vasilyevna ( S181 , S184 ).
The patronymic Gerasimovich means his father’s name was Gerasim (not added separately to the tree).
In the RIA directory, a candidate was found on January 26, 1891, from the Ishcherskaya Cossacks, with medical service in Ashgabat. In Volkov’s database there is a discrepancy between Gavrilovich / Gerasimovich; the combination of pre-revolutionary and Soviet biographies requires verification. Gerasim and Stepanida from the 1858 painting (55 and 54 years old) do not fit as the parents of Dmitry in 1891. His parents are not documented ( S164 ).
S181 : Yuri's birth record lists Father Dmitry as 34 years old in October 1925, which would place him around 1890–1891. S184 : on the back of the family photo the name Dmitry Gerasimovich, previously “b. Art. Ishcherskaya,” information about graduating from a medical institute in Moscow. This strengthens the connection with the previously found candidate from Ishcherskaya, but the exact date of birth still needs to be confirmed.
According to Elena Melnikova ( S185 ), he graduated from the First Medical Institute in Moscow. This is a family message; the year of graduation and the historical name of the educational institution require verification of the educational record.
