Киреечев Степан Васильевич
father of Anna Stefanovna, wife of Ivan Ivanovich Melnikov
Name variants: Stefan Vasilyevich Kireechev
Father of Anna Stefanovna Melnikova (Kireecheva): in her certificate he is recorded as Stepan Vasilyevich, while she herself is Stefanovna in her documents (according to Anna Stefanovna’s daughter Natalya Ivanovna, S362). His wife was Anna Ivanovna, née Kutuzova (S361).
Probably this is Stefan Vasilyevich Kireechev, born 1892, a private called up by the Podolsk district military office on 3 October 1942 into the 648th airfield service battalion: name, patronymic, surname, age and Podolsk all match (S356). The Kireechevs of this branch come from the village of Streshnevo in the Teplo-Ogaryovo district; his birth record in the Raevo parish registers has not yet been found (L102).
