Prince. Born on 4 December 1878, Orthodox, “of the princes of the Nogai tribe of the Kuban Oblast”; graduated from the Vladimir Kiev Cadet Corps, the Aleksandrovskoe Military School and the Aleksandrovskaya Military Law Academy. Podporuchik from 1897, colonel in 1913, assistant military prosecutor; from 9 November 1914 at the corps court; St Anne, 3rd class (1912). In 1914 recorded as single (S375).

According to S. V. Volkov’s reference work and Serbian publications — after the revolution an émigré in Yugoslavia, died in 1948 in Novi Sad; his wife was Zinaida Maksimovna (S165). In 1944 a Nikolai Kubekov born on 17.12.1878 was deported from Banja Luka to work in Germany, in Sömmerda (S297); a Zinaida Kubekova, born 1884, worked there too (S303). The discrepancies in the patronymic (Nikolaevich / Aleksandrovich) and in the dates have not been resolved.

Career according to orders: in 1898 released as sergeant major to the Life-Guards Finland Regiment; from 1907 in military-judicial service — candidate at the Turkestan District Court, military investigator in Irkutsk (1907) and in Turkestan (1909–1913), from August 1913 assistant military prosecutor of the Vilna Military District Court, in 1917 of Dvinsk. According to S. V. Volkov’s reference book, in 1918 he served in the Hetman’s army, from November 1918 head of the court of the 8th Corps; in 1920 his wife Zinaida Maksimovna with the children Sofia, Natalya, Nikolai and another daughter was evacuated from Novorossiysk to Lemnos (S392). The dates and places of birth of the children — Ashgabat 1911, Turkestan 1912, Vilna 1914 — match the places of his service.
