Physician, licensed in 1900. In 1904 a rural doctor in the town of Gorodok, Białystok district, Grodno province; in 1905–1916 zemstvo doctor of the Kamenka district, Chigirin uezd, Kyiv province; in 1917 senior doctor of Vladikavkaz hospital No. 10 and a godfather in a register entry of the Archangel Michael Cathedral in Vladikavkaz (S386). Wife — Varvara Alekseevna; their son Alexander was born in Kamenka in 1905 (S397) and probably died in Kyiv in 1908 (S398). Probable brother of Pyotr Petrovich Zamyatin: the same patronymic, the same Kyiv university circle and the same service in Vladikavkaz in 1917; there is no direct document of kinship (lead L92).
