A retired Cossack of Ishcherskaya stanitsa. In the stanitsa family list of 1827, no. 47: “retired Cossack Pyotr Semyonov Chebanov, 74, his wife Sofya Osipova; with them their son-in-law, serving Cossack Pyotr Denisov Fyodorov, 26, his wife Matryona Petrova, 28” with children (S733). According to his grandson Efim Petrovich Fyodorov, besides sons (they and their descendants did not have leprosy; their names are not given), Pyotr Chebanov had three daughters — Marya, Matryona and Marfa. The grandson remembered that his grandfather was “a settler from the banks of the Volga”.
