A Cossack of Ishcherskaya stanitsa; in the 1858 roll, household no. 43: “Gerasim Chebanov, 55”, wife Stepanida Maksimovna, daughters Efrosinia and Anna, son Ivan with his wife Ksenia and children (S539). By age he could be a son or grandson of Pyotr Semyonovich Chebanov (about 1753), whose sons Minkh does not name (S733) — this is a hypothesis.
