Puchezh parish registers contain the 1882 marriage of Semyon Kornilovich and Anna Ivanovna Kolodin and the births of their children. Alexandra was born in 1897; her record survives in the registers of the Transfiguration Church below the hill. Puchezh is also named as Yuri Figurovsky’s birthplace in 1920.

Puchezh. In the 2001 genealogy, Semyon and Anna Kolodin are named burghers of Puchezh. The museum tells about two cities: the old Puchezh went under the water of the Gorky Reservoir, the new one arose above. The exact address of the Kolodins’ house and its fate are unknown.

Yuri. The death report of 1942 directly names his place of birth as Puchezh and the address of his wife Tamara in Vyatskie Polyany. The crossing between Puchezh and Kostroma has only been partially restored.
